Good to know
Before you resize
- It spins
- A top-heavy center can turn even when the size is right. Sizing beads can fix that without resizing
- Pavé down the band
- Stones close to the cut can loosen, so we check every one first
- Eternity bands
- Stones all the way around usually can't be resized, so these get sized carefully before purchase
- Timing
- Fingers swell through the day and in summer. An afternoon measurement is the most accurate

Cut, adjusted, and soldered so the join can't be seen. Simple sizing is often done the same day.

A master jeweler at our own bench
Mario has more than 32 years at the bench and works right here in the store. We're one of the few jewelers in Clearwater doing repairs on site, so most work is done right here.
How many sizes can a ring go up or down?
Most rings move a size or two easily. Bigger changes may mean adding a section of metal or rebuilding the shank.
Will resizing show?
Not when it's done well. The join is soldered and polished so it can't be seen.
Can you resize a ring the same day?
Simple sizing often is. We'll tell you when you drop it off.
