Before you resize
Worth knowing
- Timing
- Simple sizing is often done the same day. We'll tell you when you drop it off
- Limits
- Most rings move up or down two sizes. Beyond that, we may add or rebuild the shank
- Eternity bands
- Stones all the way around can't be cut, so these usually can't be resized
- Get sized late
- Fingers swell through the day, so an afternoon sizing is the most accurate

Resizing and refinishing by category
Will resizing damage my ring?
Not in skilled hands. Our master jeweler cuts, adds or removes metal, solders, and refinishes so the join can't be seen.
Can you resize a ring with stones down the band?
Often a little, but stones close to the cut can loosen. We'll check every setting and tell you what's safe.
How much does resizing cost?
It depends on the metal, the width, and the number of sizes. Bring it in for a free quote.
