Ring care
Ring resizing
Right-hand rings, family rings, signets, and gemstone rings sized up or down at our bench, so a ring you inherited or haven't worn in years fits again.

Ring resizing
Rings we resize
- Inherited and family rings
- Gemstone rings
- Signet rings
- Cocktail and cluster rings
- Stackable bands
- Rings moved to a different finger
Good to know
Worth knowing
- Gemstones
- Emeralds, opals, and pearls don't like heat, so we protect or remove them first
- Signets
- Resizing can distort a crest, so we size from the back of the band
- A different finger
- Moving a ring to a new finger often means a bigger change. We'll check what's possible
How it works
From drop-off to pickup
1
Measure
We size your finger with the right width of sizer, ideally later in the day.
2
Quote
We check every stone near the band and tell you what's safe before we start.
3
Sized at our bench
Cut, adjusted, and soldered so the join can't be seen. Simple sizing is often done the same day.
4
Finished
Polished, with every setting rechecked.
A master jeweler at our own bench
Mario has more than 32 years at the bench and works right here in the store. We're one of the few jewelers in Clearwater doing repairs on site, so most work is done right here.
Can you resize my grandmother's ring?
Usually, yes. Older rings sometimes need the band reinforced too, and we'll tell you before we start.
Will heat damage my gemstone?
Some stones are sensitive to heat. We protect them or take them out while we work.
