What to know about each
- Sapphire
- Second only to diamond in hardness, so it's ideal for a ring you'll wear every day. Blue is classic, and pink and yellow are lovely too.
- Ruby
- As hard as sapphire, and prized for a deep red with a hint of blue.
- Emerald
- Softer and usually included, so it's best in a protective setting and away from ultrasonic cleaners.
- Treatments
- Most colored stones are heated or oiled to bring out their color. We'll tell you what's been done to any stone we show you.

Can you resize a fashion ring?
Most rings can go up or down a size or two. Our master jeweler does the work in the store, and simple sizing is often done the same day. Eternity styles and some designs can't be resized, and we'll tell you before you buy.
Can you make a ring from my grandmother's stone?
Yes. Bring it in and we'll look at it together. We'll design a setting that suits the stone and show you a rendering before anything is made.
