Width, metal, and fit
- Width
- Six millimeters is the most common. Wider bands feel tighter, so go up a quarter size for an 8 mm band
- Metal
- Platinum is the heaviest and whitest. Fourteen karat gold is lighter and hard wearing
- Comfort fit
- A rounded inside that slides over the knuckle and feels lighter on the hand
- Finish
- Brushed finishes hide everyday scratches, and we can refresh any finish later
Fit
Sized to your hand at our own bench
Wider bands fit tighter than narrow ones, so we size men's bands with a sizer the same width as the band you choose. Try a few profiles on and see how each one feels.
Custom bands are made in our Clearwater workshop, usually within two to three weeks of your approval.
What width do most men choose?
Six millimeters is the most common. Five suits slimmer fingers, and seven or eight makes a strong statement on larger hands. Try a few in the showroom, since width changes how a size feels.
Is platinum or gold better for a man's band?
Platinum is heavier, naturally white, and wears without losing metal. Fourteen karat gold is lighter and a little harder against scratches. Both last a lifetime.
Can a men's band be resized later?
Most plain gold and platinum bands can go up or down a size or two at our bench. Bands with diamonds all the way around can't.
Can you engrave a men's band?
Yes, inside or out. Names, dates, and coordinates are all popular.
